3. Had a iced mocha at Starbucks. A rare treat!

4. Purchased plastic bins to store away accumulating crap.

5. Prepping the house for guests coming from Versailles!

2. Attended a birthday party dinner at Bistro Jacques and met a few new faces.

3. Had a drink at the Peacock.

4. Watched some episodes of The Cleveland Show.

5. Read a chapter from my pleasure book.

1. Attended class at University.

2. Shane returned from San Diego.

3. Made mushroom soup from scratch.

4. Bought buttermilk to hopefully make a red velvet cake.

5. Received a new book titled: "The Elements of Style", much needed for a dissertation.

3 March Thursday

1. Vacuumed the flat.

2. Changed the bedsheets.

3. Purchased a bottle of Disaronno to enjoy very soon. Legend has it: "In 1525 in Italy, the artist Bernardino Luini, a pupil of Leonardo da Vinci - was commissioned to paint a fresco of the Madonna of the Miracles in Saronno. To portray the Madonna, he chose as his muse a beautiful local innkeeper. As a mark of her gratitude she prepared for the artist a special gift of a flask full of an amber liqueur, fragrant and delicate."

4. Rode a train to Waterloo station and bumped into a colleague from Tate Liverpool.

5. Attended a lovely dinner party.

2 March Wednesday

1. Rode a city bus to the park. The man sitting next to me was obsessively picking his nose. Totally gross.

2. One hour session of boot camp under the stars.

3. Watched Gentlemen Prefer Blondes.

4. Made a conscious decision to travel to Vienna with my hubby.

5. Purchased new dinner napkins and a glass storage container at Habitat.

1 March Tuesday

1. Received my new resident visa to remain in England. Wonderful news!

2. Made pinto beans from scratch.

3. Received a visit from Peppercorn, a pigeon who comes over on my balcony ever day.

4. Went to see a play about nurses who wear masks.

5. Took an extra shower after because the theatre had too many people coughing and sneezing.

28 February Monday

1. Sat down with a professor at my university to discuss my last two essays.

2. Purchased a bunch of bananas from local fruit vendor and chatted about prickled pears, which he oddly had available for the first time.

3. Waited all afternoon for a package to arrive. (It never arrived!)

4. Watched the premiere of Lady Gaga's new video for 'Born this Way'.

5. Drank an A & W Rootbeer I was saving for a special occasion.

27 February Sunday

1. Wandered throughout the Walker Art Gallery, Liverpool.
2. Read a bit from my current pleasure book: Marie Antoinette by Antonia Fraser.

3. Watched a few bootleg episodes of the Golden Girls season 7.

4. Visited the gym.

5. Chatted with a best friend after their surprise birthday party to hear all the fun details...and discover one of the guests is a former foe who actually placed a voodoo curse on me years ago and had a chicken killed in my (dis)honour. True story!

1. 1 hour of exercise boot camp in Sefton Park.

2. Poured 23 shots of Absolut raspberry.

3. Hand washed 3 expensive sweaters

4. Made hamburgers for dinner.

5. Bought a newspaper to read on the couch.

Ok so this is the first post. What happened today...hmmm...

1. Received a rejection letter for a job I applied for at the V&A museum.

2. Went to the gym.

3. Booked a hotel room in Dublin.

4. Arranged 3 vases with daffodils.

5. Had a splash of rose at the Everyman pub with friends.
